When he’s not working, Darrell enjoys quality time with family and friends, boating, hunting game and fishing in the Austin area. He has been an avid motorcycle rider from a very early age and finds rides on his Harley Davidson to be therapeutic.
From the Caribbean to southern California, his family enjoys vacationing together. He is also a proud supporter of Boys and Girls Country, which provides shelter for underprivileged homeless boys and girls. Darrell is also developing his own office/business park, which will include Anderson Restoration.
Darrell also enjoys reaching out to the community and keeping them informed through the media. From September 2008 - September 2009 he was a CNN Hurricane Ike expert adviser as well as a Houston Business Daily adviser.
Darrell’s heart is really in the spiritual perspective of his restoration business – stepping into sometimes-catastrophic situations to restore people’s property and make their lives better than it was before the damage occurred, with minimal interruption to their daily routine.
He believes that God planted this passion in him for just that reason.
